Initial Consultations for Pet
Sitting/Dog Walking
and
Trial Visits for Daily Dog Walking
If you've never used LC Pet Services before,
please arrange for your initial free consultation early. The consultation for pet sitting and dog walks should
be made at least 5 days in advance of when you require service. The consultation for cats and other pets should be made
at least 3 days in advance. Earlier is better in case our schedule is too busy to fit in a consultation or trial visit (dogs) immediately
before your departure, or when you need dog visits or walking services. If we are fully booked you'll want to make sure you
have time to find another sitter. We do not offer service without a prior consultation and, in the case of dogs
or nervous cats, without a prior trial visti (or two).
For services during the summer months or Christmastime,
PLEASE book a few weeks in advance.
Dog Sitting and
Daily Dog Walks
With dogs, we require a few days prior to the beginning of
services to have an opportunity to do a "trial run". That is, allowing the sitter/walker to enter the home when
you are out, but still in town. The sitter/walker may simply enter the home and make sure your dog is
alright with that. If there are any concerns, we may then require another day to try this out again, or to
make sure that your dog will be alright with being leashed by the sitter/walker and taken for a short stroll.
